Weekly SCHEDULE

Edinburgh Pickleball Club runs pickleball sessions every day of the week, offering a varied programme for players of different experience levels and playing styles.

Our weekly sessions include social pickleball, open play, structured match play, and competitive sessions across a range of skill levels, from newer players through to high intermediate and advanced players.

We currently play at three venues across Edinburgh:

Meadowbank Sports Centre
Craiglockhart Leisure & Tennis Centre
Stewart Melville College

Session times, venues, formats, and skill levels vary throughout the week, so members should check the latest schedule on Spond before booking. This helps ensure you choose the right session for your availability, experience level, and the type of pickleball you want to play.

Weekly Pickleball Session Times 

Monday

Meadowbank 7 to 8:30pm all skill levels welcome
Skill and drill - A structured skill, drill, and play session led by a qualified coach or trained ambassador. The focus is on improving specific techniques and tactics through short drills, followed by match play to put your learning into action. 

Meadowbank 8:30 to 10pm Intermediate, High Intermediate, Advanced
Relaxed and friendly social session for Intermediate and High Intermediate players. Players will be grouped by level where possible and rotate for fun, balanced games. A great chance to enjoy pickleball, meet others, and keep your skills sharp! 

Tuesday

Craiglockhart 7 to 9pm Advanced
High-level match play for experienced players looking for competitive, fast-paced games. 

Craiglockhart 7 to 9pm High Intermediate
Competitive match play for High Intermediate players looking for challenging, balanced games with players of a similar level.  

Wednesday

Meadowbank 6 to 8pm Intermediate, High Intermediate and Advanced players
Relaxed and friendly social session for Intermediate, High Intermediate and Advanced players. Players will be grouped by level where possible and rotate for fun, balanced games. A great chance to enjoy pickleball, meet others, and keep your skills sharp!  

Thursday

Meadowbank 7 to 9pm Intermediate and High Intermediate
DUPR matchplay session aimed mainly at Intermediate and High Intermediate players who are keen to level up, but also for players looking for more practice playing competitive pickleball.

Friday

Meadowbank 3 to 5pm  Open to all
The first hour will be mixed social play, giving everyone the chance to rotate, mix in, and play with a variety of members. The second hour will be organised by playing level, helping create more balanced games and giving players the chance to play at a pace that better matches their experience.

Saturday

Craiglockhart 11:30am to 1pm Intermediate, High Intermediate and Advanced
DUPR matchplay session aimed mainly at Intermediate and High Intermediate players who are keen to level up, but also for players looking for more practice playing competitive pickleball.

Stewart Melville College 2 to 4pm  Improvers
Guided session for Improvers focusing on improving consistency, court positioning, and shot selection. Facilitated by a trained host or ambassador to ensure balanced pairings and purposeful play. Ideal for players building confidence to move toward Intermediate level. Supportive and fun environment guaranteed!

Sunday

Stewart Melville  College 9 to 10:30am Improver and Intermediate
Relaxed and friendly social session for Improver and Intermediate players. Players will be grouped by level where possible and rotate for fun, balanced games. A great chance to enjoy pickleball, meet others, and keep your skills sharp!

Stewart Melville  College 10:30am to 12 noon Intermediate, High Intermediate, Advanced
Relaxed and friendly social session for Intermediate and High Intermediate players. Players will be grouped by level where possible and rotate for fun, balanced games. A great chance to enjoy pickleball, meet others, and keep your skills sharp!
